Shine on Brighter is my new motto; life is just too short. My name is Jacqueline McAllister (a.k.a. Jax ). I'm a native to Dallas, Texas, self-employed world traveler who loves life. I have two fur babies, Vida and Coco, who I love to pieces. I was diagnosed with breast cancer on October 3, 2018. Thankfully, my diagnosis was caught early. Although I have changed many things about how I live life daily, I still live life. I've thankfully had an outpouring of love and support throughout the process. I have a fantastic family, friends, and the best doctors.
From the very beginning, I decided to take this negative and turn it into a positive by helping raise money and creating awareness through the Susan G. Komen Race for the cure. This is how we make a difference in life by helping others.
Why Shine on Brighter? I have been approached by many friends, asking what I am doing. I have been approached by women with cancer. What did you do? I feel better today than I have in years, and that's after going through, yes, cancer. I know there is a lot of information out there, and I did my research. I've compiled a list of healthy living habits, not just for those who have fallen ill, but also for those who are healthy and want to live a healthier life. Now, let's soak it in and have some fun while living a better you! So, here it goes! It's a daily dose of wellness and inspiration!
